The terms of our contract are as follows.

All information provided to Acubiller is true and accurate to Client’s best knowledge.
Client will hold Acubiller harmless from all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from breach by Client of any applicable law or regulation.
Client will submit all of their insurance claims through Acubiller (unless a prior arrangement has been agreed upon by both parties)
Client agrees to notify Acubiller immediately regarding changes to practice address, practice name, billing address, provider name, and tax ID, and to update through Acubiller/Alchemy Credentialing.
Acubiller will invoice Client at the beginning of each month. Payment is due by the 20th of the month (within 19 days). Otherwise, Acubiller services will cease until outstanding payments are settled.
Client agrees to pay all setup and monthly fees as outlined in the fee schedule.
Here's a rundown of two important points you might have missed. 😉
Point #3: We file ALL of your claims
Whether you're in-network or out-of-network; whether the patient has a healthcare policy, an auto, worker's comp, or personal injury claim, or is a veteran; whether or not the patient's deductible has been satisfied; while you're our client, every claim is filed through us.
Any exceptions to this rule should be cleared with Eliza by phone.
Point #4: Moving? Changing your business name or other demographic information? We need to know.
Your name, tax ID, national provider ID, license number, and billing and facility addresses are included on every claim we file.
What happens if when a provider moves or changes their business information without telling us?
We continue filing claims as before, but now the information is wrong. Payments and private health information may be sent to the wrong address. NOT FUN 😬
On the carrier's side, provider moves and demographic changes don't go into effect immediately, either. You might be unable to bill for months.
Moves and demographic changes are a big deal. As a quality control measure, we require our clients to coordinate them through Alchemy Credentialing, our sister company.
